Print File Requirements
Pick Up Days:
Twice a week, Fridays & Wednesdays - please let me know your availability
upon submitting your file for print!
Step 1: Prepare your image
TIFF and PSD is recommended. JPEGs and PDFs accepted.
Image must be scaled to the print size and 300 dpi.
Step 2: Give us your image
Upload your files with Order Desk - Or share your files with sales@sketchcalgary.ca using Google Drive, DropBox, or your favorite Cloud-based storage system. USB drives are accepted.
Step 3: Order a test strip for each image ($5 each – optional)
I will print a 5 inch wide strip of your image.
This allows you to preview your image at the printed size and ensure everything is correct before ordering your final print.
Step 4: Order Print
Project is invoiced after printing. Sometimes a 50% deposit will be required before project start.
Turnaround time depends on the scope of the project, usually 2x a week for pickups.
Canvas Prints can take 2-3 weeks for delivery due to substrate curing requirements.
Step 5: Pick up prints
Usually twice a week, Wednesdays & Fridays - let me know if this does not work for you so we can arrange different days and times!
Curbside bin pickup system,
Pick up in person via appointment,
Delivery is available for oversized work, or
Shipping is available (cost depends on your location). Typically it costs approx $25 to ship a 17″x22″ box with 10 prints in it, to somewhere like Okotoks or High River.

AI Generated Images Disclaimer
We are receiving an increased amount of image printing requests with AI-generated files attached. Some are made with websites (such as Chat GPT and Midjourney) but some are purchased from online markets (Etsy or stock photo websites). These images are not suitable for physical printing - particularly larger sizes - and are usually pixelated or display strange artifacts which look like printing mistakes. To preserve customer satisfaction, we are informing clients about these types of recent images which have flooded the market. Please read the agreement below to indicate you understand our new Terms & Conditions regarding AI generated images.
Agreement 1: "We do not take responsibility for file quality due to your image being AI generated."
Agreement 2: "If you have purchased a file for printing, it may be AI generated and we are not responsible for file quality even if the seller has upscaled file size."
Agreement 3: "If you still wish to print the file, there will be a $20 upscaling fee for each AI generated image."
Agreement 4: "After reading the above, you are confirming that you have understood the disclaimer & agreements, agree to pay the upscaling fee, and agree to not request a refund due to image quality concerns."
This information is non-negotiable.
