Painted Prints

Participants will use several techniques to create water-media mono types. Learn to make original paintings as prints without a press, using water based paint and inks. Some materials supplied but please bring extra paper and watercolour painting supplies.

YOU BRING;

- your watercolours, brushes and supplies as for any watercolour painting class, include any water-based block printing inks & rollers if you have them.
- if possible bring along several textures (fabrics, leaves, anything with a surface that can leave marks or make a stencil), Xacto knife and scissors, hair dryer, palette knives.
- Come prepared with a simple drawing or photo no bigger than 8 x 10 inches. (we may set up a still life) Wear old clothes & bring a lunch.
-  Optional – bring pieces of any variety or weight of watercolour paper(s), or rice paper. Be sure some pieces are no smaller than 12x 14 inches.

Sketch Art Supplies will have items on hand for purchase if you do not have any supplies.
